Évora and Arraiolos one day

Alentejo tourism tour with private guide. We'll walk through the historic center of Évora, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, with mandatory stops in: Roman Temple, Cathedral of Évora (Gothic, century XIII- XIV), St. Francis Church (Gothic, Mudejar and Manuelino style, century XV -XVI) and Chapel of Bones (century XVI -XVII, decorated with human bones). Time to taste a local delicacie called Queijadinha de Évora. In the course we´ll have the opportunity to enjoy other monuments and important places of the city, like the Aqueduct of Silver Water (century XVI) and Giraldo Square. After lunch, we continue to the village of Arraiolos where we´ll walk within the walls of his unusual circular castle (century XIII), with a spectacular view of the Alentejo plains. For finishing, we´ll go to craft making factory of the famous Arraiolos carpets, embroidered with wool. It may also visit a local farm and tasting one of their wines.
